At CMRG, our mission is to develop better treatments for extending the lives of myeloma patients and enhance the quality of life for those living with myeloma and other related disorders. We are dedicated to finding a cure for these diseases and other plasma cell disorders.

As a Canada-wide network of researchers, our goal is to bring clinical trials to more patients in more centers across the country. Our research network collaborates with various healthcare institutions and organizations to ensure access to the latest advancements in myeloma research.

Our vision is to transform myeloma research in Canada and accelerate a cure. Through clinical trials, real-world evidence, and translational research, we strive to further our understanding of myeloma and provide better outcomes for patients. We also develop consensus statements on the diagnosis and treatment of myeloma.

Currently, CMRG is conducting 9 clinical trials with 21 participating sites. We have enrolled 350 patients and administered over 3303 cycles of treatment to date. Additionally, our real-world evidence program involves 16 participating centers, with over 8387 patients enrolled. We have published 5 manuscripts and 13 abstracts based on our research findings.

Our research network consists of prestigious institutions such as Alberta Health Services, Cancer Care Manitoba, McGill University Health Centre, and the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. By positioning ourselves at the heart of myeloma research in Canada, we have established a national database and correlative research platforms.
